Arlington Ridge Golf Club

Designed by golf professional and NBC-TV commentator Gary Kochh, The Arlington Ridge Golf Club championship course features a river that winds all along the southern boundary. Centuries-old oaks have a commanding presence throughout all 18 holes. These majestic oak canopies provide picture-worthy backdrops to greens and fairways along the way. Ranging from 4,877 yards from the front tees and 6,610 total yards from the back tees, the course's respectable par 71 is truly member-friendly. With 5 sets of tee boxes at each hole it's the kind of course you can play every day and have a new challenge each time. If you're a good golfer, you'll enjoy the subtle nuances of well-placed hazards, elevated greens, and dogleg approaches. This 18-hole championship course has six sets of tees measuring between 5,044 and 7,062 yards. With the large selection of tees, all skill levels should find a comfortable starting point. The practice facility includes a two-way driving range and a 40,000-square-foot short game area. Black Bear also provides a "shoot-out" hole, No. 19, for special events or for those who just can't get enough of a good thing. Black Bear Golf Club follows in the tradition of what is fast becoming a long line of highly-praised P.B. Dye designed courses. Golfers at Black Bear can count on the "usual unusual" Dye trademark touches, such as undulating greens, sandy waste bunkers and dramatic elevation changes. Country Club of Mount Dora

This Central Florida course features pine trees lining its narrow fairways. Water hazards (ponds and lakes) come into play on 15 holes. This scenic course is located at the highest elevation in Florida.

The Orlando course at the Country Club of Mount Dora is a mere 6,571 yards from the back tees; but, that should not lull golfers into a false sense of security – there are plenty of obstacles throughout the course. For instance, water is a factor on 16 of the 18 holes and sand traps are everywhere. As a result, golfers are forced to strategize and focus on their shots. The fairways are narrow and are lined with pine trees and the greens are elevated. This scenic course is located at the highest elevation in Florida.

Deer Island Country Club

Just across Lake Dorefrom Mount Dora, Fla. From Orlando, take U.S. Highway 441 north to Sadler Road. Approximately 2 miles before Mount Dora, turn LEFT and follow the signs to Deer Island Golf and Lake Club. From Florida's Turnpike exit 285, take State Road 19 north for 11 miles. Turn right at County Road 561 and follow the signs to Deer Island Golf and Lake Club. Course designed by Joe Lee.

Eagle Dunes Golf Course

When Eagle Dunes Golf Club opened its course in 2003 in Sorrento, it quickly earned a reputation as being an enjoyable 18-hole course with few crowds. Mike Dasher created the 7,024 yard, par 72 course to challenge golfers while still making it fun for all skill levels. Golfers appreciate its elevation changes, well maintained greens and beautiful fairways. Golf Digest gave Eagle Dunes a four star rating in the 2008-2009 edition of Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play."

Harbor Hills Country Club

This course was built on hilly terrain and also affords a scenic view of Lake Griffin. Water hazards come into play on three holes on the back nine. The signature hole is #10, a 485-yard, par 4, requiring a shot over water and a fabulous view of Lake Griffin.

This challenging finishing hole overlooks the clubhouse and pro shop.

The Golf Course at Bella Collina
