Mission Inn Resort & Club

Description: Mission Inn Resort & Club is a 1,100 acre, full-service luxury resort. It is home to two championship 18-hole golf courses, including the 100-year old “El Campeon” course, which has been rated the #1 course in Florida and #16 internationally by Golf Advisor.

Clermont Boathouse

Location: Clermont, FL

Events Hosted: USA Canoe/Kayak Sprint National Championships, international/collegiate rowing team training

Description: The 5,000 square-foot Clermont Boathouse is located on Lake Minneola is home , as well as a 1,000-meter and 2,000-meter course for paddle sports or rowing and the oak-tree covered shoreline provides spectators a great viewing area.

Clermont Waterfront Park & Victory Pointe

Description: Clermont Waterfront Park and Victory Pointe are world-class venues designed for multi-sport athletes, event organizers and visitors. For over 34 years, the city of Clermont has been a global destination for multi-sport training and competitive events including numerous regional and national championships.

Venetian Gardens

Location: Leesburg, FL

Sports Hosted: Bass fishing, watersports

Events Hosted: FLW Tour, Bassmaster Open Series, Bassmaster Team Championship, Fishers of Men Team Series National Championship

Description: A 65-acre waterfront park, located directly on the historic Harris Chain of Lakes, Venetian Gardens and Ski Beach is one of the nation’s top bass fishing tournament destinations. New amenities are being added to the park including a 20,700 square-foot Community Centre, restaurants and more to welcome visitors from around the world.

Hickory Point Park

Location: Tavares, FL

Sports Hosted: Bass Fishing, Soccer, Lacrosse, Rugby, Flag Football

Events Hosted: Big Bass Tour, Lacrosse Team Training, FYSA Presidents Cup

Description: A 68-acre multi-use facility that is home to the Mike Stone Soccer Complex, Hickory Point Beach and Florida’s largest freshwater boating complex. The Mike Stone Soccer Complex is a 6-field complex that can be utilized for soccer, lacrosse, rugby and more.

Hickory Point Beach

Location: Tavares, FL

Sports Hosted: Beach Volleyball, Beach Soccer

Events Hosted: AVCA Small College Beach Championships, High School Beach National Championships, SSAC High School Beach State Championships

Description: Hickory Point Beach is Florida’s largest permanent sand volleyball complex with 21 lighted sand volleyball courts and a 4,000 square-foot athletics center that includes locker rooms, a training room, meeting space, concessions stands and restrooms.

National Training Center & Legends Way Ballfields

Location: Clermont, FL

Sports Hosted: Swimming, Synchronized Swimming, Soccer, Lacrosse, Track and Field

Events Hosted: USA Synchro Masters National Championship, team and athlete training

Description: The National Training Center (NTC) includes a 37,000 square foot fitness facility, five athletic fields, a 400-meter outdoor track and field complex, and an outdoor heated pool. The newly renovated, 1-million gallon pool at the NTC is the 2nd largest competition pool in Florida and was constructed by Myrtha, the same company that built the London and Rio Olympic pools!

Legends Way Ballfields

Location: Clermont, FL

Sports Hosted: Softball

Events Hosted: Sun Conference Softball Championship, NAIA Softball Championship, THE Spring Games (softball)

Description: Legends Way Ballfields is a 5-field fastpitch softball complex located at the National Training Center in Clermont, FL. The facility includes five (5) regulation fastpitch softball fields, including one stadium, five (5) fastpitch batting cages (35’), bus parking, thirteen (13) bullpens, restrooms, concessions, an umpire room (including three private changing stations) and more.

The Big House

Location: Tavares, FL

Sports Hosted: Basketball, Volleyball

Events Hosted: Special Olympics State Basketball Championships, Florida AAU Basketball State Championships, AAU Volleyball Super Regionals

Description: The Big House is a state-of-the-art 162,000-square-foot recreational facility with 9 basketball courts, 16 volleyball courts and more. The flexibility of the venue allows it to host a variety of events and its proximity to accommodations lends itself to a great visitor experience.

Clermont Boathouse

Location: Clermont, FL

Training Support: Lake County Rowing Association

Jack Travers International Tournament Waterski

Location: Groveland, FL

Sports Hosted: Waterski, Slalom, Jump

Training Support: World Champion and professional waterski coaches Jack Travers, Jon Travers, Chris Travers, Natallia Berdnikova

Description: Jack Travers International Tournament Waterski is operated by the legendary Travers family, with world championship and world record credentials. The Travers’ utilize over 4-decades of experience to train waterski enthusiasts of all ages.

Swiss Waterski Resort

Location: Clermont, FL

Sports Hosted: Waterski

Training Support: Professional waterski coach Clint Stadlbaur

Description: World reknowned Swiss Waterski Resort (formerly Swiss Ski School) located in Clermont, Florida was founded in 1979 and has evolved from a house on a lake to a full size resort comprising of custom-made ski lakes with waterfront mediteranean villas surounded by a pristine 18-hole golf course. This perfect ski set up which hosted the World Championships is animated by a team of experienced and dedicated coaches led by long time Pro Skier and Coach Clint Stadlbaur.

Being Swiss, quality comes first and skiers will appreciate to be towed by brand new Nautiques on record capability slalom courses. But the best part of Swiss is that skiers of all levels can share the dock and their experience on the water. Indeed, during your stay you will meet a skier completing his first slalom course and sit in the boat to watch a World Champion!
